Cloud Multiviewer
BitFire Cloud Multiviewers allow you to monitor multiple sources from within your BitFire ecosystem in a customizable, browser-based view.
To Begin Building a Cloud Multiviewer
- Navigate to the Resources page.
- Click the red and white + icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Cloud Multiviewer from the dropdown.
This will launch the Cloud Multiviewer configuration screen.
Multiviewer Configuration
- Name: Choose a name for your multiviewer.
- Region: Select the AWS region to deploy the multiviewer in.
- Box Count: Choose how many source tiles you want to monitor (options range from 1 to 64).
- Show Format Indicator: Toggle whether to display video format (e.g., resolution, framerate) inside each box.
- Show UMDs: Toggle whether to display Under Monitor Displays (labels) on each box.
- UMD Prefix: Enter a text prefix to apply across all UMDs for consistency.
- Audio Meters: Choose how many channels of audio meters to overlay on each box.
Once configured, you can adjust the following in individual boxes:
- Override the UMD labels
- Enable or disable audio meters
- Enable or disable the Format Indicator
When you're satisfied, click the green Save icon in the bottom-right to deploy the multiviewer. It will appear in your resources list and can be toggled on or off like other cloud environments.
